Default Drone proofing?

Looking to sound proof the cab of my 99 GT. I have custom side pipes with no mufflers, and a shaker 1000 sound system. I love the sound of the exhause, but I want to soften the drone and enjoy my sound system.
Dynamat, GTmat, or lizard skin. I need some input before I drop the moola$!

None of the above are going to make exhaust with no mufflers quiet enough to enjoy the radio...

There's a reason car manufacturers designed the exhaust to exit behind the car...
