So first off let me say that I'm a larger man so pulling my bullitt on ramps and trying to squeeze to the Tranny wasn't fun ....the fluid pump squeeze thing broke so I had to use a oil spout which kinda leaked and you have to squeeze the fluid for it to go in


I will clear the air on some stuff for my 01 bullitt has the 3650 it takes 3 quarts!! I talked to a mustang shop and he told me 3 quarts so I did And I used Mobil 1 synthetic ATF and I couldn't really tell a difference until it got cold...the synthetic fluid is awesome when it's cold outside seems like it falls into gear now.

It is actually 3.0 L (3.2 qt) per this TSB, however I always just dump in 3 quarts of M1 as well.

The auto industry has converted to metric measures and 3.0 L was a convenient number, that it converts to 3.2 qt is irrelevant, 3.0 quarts is plenty...

I used Royal Purple before and I noticed a small difference. It was probably just in my head, though. Ha ha.
