2009 after CAI and Tune trouble starting in Cold weather
I was wondering if others besides me have had issues with cold weather starts after installing a CAI and tune. My 2009 GT 4.6L starts right up on the first crank when it is warm out but lately now that the weather is 20 deg. F or colder I really have to crank and crank the starter to get it to start. Even sometimes having to put a charger on the battery I replaced the battery thinking it was not holding enough charge but over night in the cold and again it won't start. once it does start and warms up on the next start it is fine.
Is this normal with a CAI and a 93 octane tune for the car to have a hard time starting in cold weather? I also thought about get new plugs for a stronger spark? but the plugs are only a year old. I guess I could try reloading the factory tune as well. But any thoughts?
