The cobra's new stance...

Got a set of race stars from a buddy, like new with also like new 185/55/17 m&h roadmaster fronts and 275/60/15 mt et street radials on the rear. Seem to hook okay on the street but I haven't tried from a dig or warming them up yet. big test will be this upcoming thursday as it's our first track rental at work so cant wait for that!

Fillerdust 05-04-2013 10:19 PM

There's ways to run the 15s up front... But 17s are the easiest way to go

Looks good! Post up vids when you get to the track!

Running a 1" spacer or downgrading to gt brakes isn't something I want to do.

Looks sick greddy! I like the 17's up front. Excited to see the vids. Is tc going to be ready for the track soon?

Hopefully. he should be finishing his auto swap within a week, then it's just a tune away from being ready.

Next mod needs to be a 500 dollhair beater car to rack up miles on. I must say, I am insanely and unhealthily....incredibly jealous.

Thats already done man, bought a '95 altima for $550 last fall. There's no way I would have drove a cobra thru the winter.

I will be running cobra brakes with a re drilled cobra caliper bracket which will allow me to use a cobra brake caliper with a 12" crown vic rotor, and clear 15s without a spacer. This is how mustangs cleared tech inspection for the mustang camaro challenge using smaller wheels and no spacers to get through tech. Car looks good btw.
