And instead of going with KB's 2.6 blower, I'll get their 2.1 instead. With that being said, I'm going to have the shop order a set of MMR's 750hp rotating assembly kit.
$30k !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even have close to 30k in my car, and thats the price of the car, going through 3 motors, converting to 4v, and painting it. and im over 600 horse. for $30k it better becoming with a life time supply of super model BJs, beer for life, and a beater car for winter.

30k?! Geezus. Uhm. Just a cursory search at summit....
Ford Racing 5.0L DOHC Aluminator $8,694.97
Ford Racing Tremec 6-Speed Transmission $2,895.97
FORD MUSTANG Currie 9 in. Rear End $1,430.97
Ford Racing 5.0L ECM Pack $1,529.97
Wilwood Disc 6 Big Brake Kit $1,719.99
Aeromotive 800lb hr fuel pump $ 779.99
Ford Racing 624 HP Supercharger Kit $7,749.97
misc parts $2,000.00
$26801.83

Most of the parts needed to make this all work are included in these kits, some parts are repeated in some kits, some additional parts are needed like fuel lines, driveshaft, and etc..so I figured prob another 2k in misc parts... And god knows some of them kits are ridiculously over priced... BUT STILL IM UNDER 30k! Lol... I mean you can buy a used 2.3 supercharger with all the hardware for 3k, If youre getting a 30k pricetag it better be at least as good as that parts list. I mean you could buy a used termi for 18k, throw in 2k of mods for intake, exhaust, pullies, and a dyno tune and be sitting at 500rwhp and have 10k left to play with! Lol...29,780 buys a 2009 Shelby GT500 on Ebay right now. If hes building you a 600 hp 2 valve and using your existing driveline it better be gold plated when hes done! Prices people be getting nowadays...**rant**

Yeah.....it was a good thing I was sitting when he told me the quote. He was going on and on about "for the build you want, you're going to need top quality" and so on. I'm at work rigt now and don't have the exact numbers with me, but he was quoting me a little over $8500 for an engine rebuild ($2300 forged internals, new valves, ported stock heads, cam install, new timing chain, cam gears), $1000 for new fuel lines/fuel tank/cell, $1000 for Aeromotive's A1000 pump, $6500 for the 2.6 kit, $1000 for the brake/lowering kit, suspension install. There were other items, but I forget what they were and the prices. I can get MMR's 750 forged kit cheaper, so I'm either going to order that myself and have it shipped to him or have him order it. Like I mentioned earlier, I'll get KB's 2.1 kit and install that myself and go to a dyno later. So basically, all I really want them to install are the forged internals, cams, headers, driveshaft, brakes, and suspension. That'll definitely cut the cost WAY down.

After a day and some hours of traveling, I'm finally home on leave an feel like a kid on Christmas opening up the parts boxes! All that's left are MMR's 1000hp kit and KB's 2.8lc kit! And thank GOD I found a different shop to do the install, because with everything I laid out that I wanted to them, they only quoted me 3000-3500. KB should get here next week, and hopefully mmr's kit will get here then too.
