Default Winter Wheels/Tires

After running bald 245/17 Sumitomos for two years, and similarly sized Falconpunches, I decided with the young one riding with me all winter I should invest in a safer and more convenient tire combination.

I'll be taking the stock 16" wheels from my brothers '95GT and likely wrapping them in super awesome 215/60R/16 Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRTs..

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Ultra+Grip+I ce+WRT&partnum=16TR6UGIWRT&vehicleSearch=false&fro mCompare1=yes

Anyone have experience with them, and does that size sound right for diameter?

size is good, tire is decent and I got your text about this subject my suggestion woukd be to go into discount and talk to Vedran at the Coliseum store or if you go to the Maysville store talk to Mike Baker (red cummins at my parents) or drake stover and tell them you know me, may end up good or bad

I had some cheap *** winter tires on my old gt, they looked exactly like blizzaks for the most part but forget what brand they were. They did excellent, drove that car 2 winters and only got stuck once trying to go thru a 3' snow drift without enough speed lol.

Yea, not to mention the difference between a 215 winter tire and a 245 summer tire.
