Default Hood mod update

just decided for the few that were interested it was easier to make a new thread than post on the old
There she is as of right now, not even close to done, but gives a good idea. there's actually more pictures on flicker if you feel so interested you must know more. It may not have final design but it will have some of the steps along the way, and if your creative you can imagine where im taking the finished product...been a crap load of work. but hey unique isnt cheep or easy.

Looks like its coming along nicely. Are you planning on adding the vents similar to the '13s?

I'm not sure if you looked at the other pictures or not, I have one of the vents in prefab set up. I got the idea from the 13s but they are way different, mainly size the 13s are like 20 inches by 5. Mine are like 9x3 and of course my vents look more aggressive imo. I plan on having them right over the headers

Gotcha. I can see where you have it sketched on the hood before primer. I assume that's what you are referring to on having it prefab'd up? I think it should look good.

I ment more about what the vents look like than the placement of them. Anyway that was the original place I was going to put them but I had to move them more towards the center of the hood, about 6 inches in towards the center for both. Otherwise it's right over the shock tower and master cylinder. But it should be more functional which is what I'm going for. Not a fan of adding things that have no value, hense taking the fake vent out
