Engine ticking - bad lifter?

Yeah I did some research. Gonna take a while. A shop quoted me 2500 bucks to do it. I'll pay 60 for both sides and spend 10 hours doing it myself.

dont forget the 4 bolts thru the oil pan into the timing cover...i can see you replying with broken parts lol
and i recommend doing both guides and tensioners

lol will do. I think im going to start it this coming weekend. my parts should be here on wednesday or thursday. thanks for the help guys.

Have a similar problem.
Oil was very low, no leaks but now I'm hearing a ticking from top drivers side.
I will try and pinpoint the location.
