New headlights; to switch or not to switch?
First of all; Hello to all of you Mustang fanatics. I'm new to the forum but excited to have joined you guys.
I am the happy owner of a 1999 FM convertible. After all these years, the headlight units are dull and I am about to upgrade them with new ones.
I happen to come across some HALO LED Projector headlights on Ebay, and was wondering if I should replace them with stock ones or take the plunge and get these LED ones?
I have to say I really like the looks of the LED Projector ones, but was wondering if there would be a reason not to switch to the LED headlights?
You guys' input is much appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Not a fan of those either, feel like Ford pretty much got it right with the factory design. I have a set that's basically just like stock but has a clear reflector in the corner instead of the stock amber color and think those are as good as it gets on these cars.
But to each their own... Only thing I would be leary of is fitment issues. I've seen many (even ones from reputable retailers) that fit like total dogsh**; some with a 1/4" gap where the turn signal section lines up with the fender, stuff like that. Make sure wherever you buy from has a decent return policy just in case.
And if you're thinking about running HID's in the future, keep in mind that most of those projector style housings won't accommodate for those bulbs.
