Default P0175

I filled up my 2004 GT at a reputable gas station about one month ago. I already had about 1/2 tank and filled it full. I live about 1 mile from the gas station. The next day, the check engine light came on and took it to a auto parts store and I got the P0175 code. I thought this was weird and wondered if it was bad gas so I thought I'd drive it so I use up most of the gas as I can and then fill it up again. I don't drive it much so it took awhile to get it under 1/4 tank. Now the check engine light is not on. Can it be the gas? Thanks, Ed.

Or you didn't tighten the gas cap on all the way?

I still have not filled it with gas yet so I don't think it's the gas cap. The light went off yesterday so I was still going to drive it until almost empty.

p0175 is bank 2 too rich, its not from filling up with gas. and its not from a loose gas cap. MAF sensor dirty, leaking injectors, too high fuel pressure etc. can all cause this. for future reference, it helps if u know what the code means before you start guessing as to whats wrong.

I got the code and reading from the auto part store. Just wondering why the check engine light would come on and went off one month later of not doing anything to it. It just happened after filling it with gas
