VORTECH V2 SQ S-Trim SC
Has anyone purchased or know anythingabout these Superchargers? They are only around $2,500 new and I wanted to knowif they are any good as a moderate alternative to full blown. The model for the '05 - '07 GT is their Vortech V2 SQ S-Trim.
thanks.
thanks.

What do you mean by "full blown". A Vortech is a centrifugal supercharger (like the Procharger). It can be intercooled for high boost or non-intercooled for lower boost. They make decent power and are a very good option. There are several on this board who have them and are happy with them.

they are a great option - I love mine - easy on the low end and beastly up top
However I think the price your looking at may just be for the SC and not the kit. You need the entire kit to run the car properly. The kits are 4500- 5900

I just bought one this morning, pick it up @ steeda store on Sat... likely won't install till I do some reinforcements.
I am glad to hear people are happy with them, I got the HO setup.. what is a decent boost to run them at?
