Turbonetics T-76 or Precision 76GTS?
I have an 07 mustang GT with a hellion turbo kit. It's come to the time I'm going to need to upgrade the turbo. I'm debating between the turbonetics T-76 and a Precision 76GTS. I've heard better things about the Precision turbo which is making me lean more towards it. I want to know what everyone thinks.. If anyone could give me the exact dimensions I will need to bolt up to the kit that would be awesome. Also, for a/r housing I've heard it's better to go with a .81 because it will spool up faster than a .96 with our engines.*I plan on making 850rwhp.
Thanks,

Certainly your 68mm is probably only good for around 650 rear wheel....but what do you need 850 for....do you also plan on a consistent low to mid 9s second car, with limited or no streetability? Is the inside of you car going to resemble mine? Would not recommend it unless you have to.
I went from a 67 to a 76 (precision) and noticed a definite lag between the two on the street. My car is no longer street legal and will be pushing 25-27 lbs of boost with the new build. My goals are ET and trap, not rwhp. The plan of making 850rwhp makes no sense on its own.

kinda off topic, but I always wanted to turbo my GT.. the only problem is emissions.
Alaska isn't too strict, just as long as it's not puffing out black smoke as it's idling.
How do you turbo guys get away with IM?? I don't plan on living here forever and wouldn't want to run into any problems down the road.

Is this going thru an auto or a manual?

Ok, I see it's an automatic.
Just make sure you do the supporting mods to keep fuel and heat out of the motor.
I agree with Forensic Steve on the size of the turbo. I would rather get twins for street use instead of a large single. For the track I like Steve's set up, a large single building boost at the line and then taking off. JMO and hope you have success getting to your goals as 850 rwhp through a nonlocking convertor will be ALOT of power.
