Question Whipple questions

To all the Whipple guys out there!

For the 2.3L Whipple on the 3V 4.6 with the intercooler -- perhaps someone can help me with the following:

What is the coolant capacity of the intercooler system?

and

What is the weight of the compressor oil used by Whipple?

Thanks!

Mike

on the oil, whipple lists Motorcraft XL-4 as a suitable oil, so
do some googling and maybe the internets will answer
that one. i looked at my bottle and it did not specify a weight.

The bottle that the oil comes in is just a clear bottle with a pointed tip. No label or weight listed. The intercooler capacity is .9 gallons if I remember correctly from the last time I changed it. Far too little in my opinion.

Thanks guys. I was asking about the weight of the oil because I'm a big fan of Amsoil products, and they have 2 compressor oils available (in small amounts, that is) -- an SAE 20 and an SAE 30/40. Trying to figure out which to get.
