Automatic Transmission Help - Error Code P0732
Hey everyone...
Looking for a little help here.
I have a 2010 Mustang GT Automatic with 19500 miles on it. This morning I was pulling in to the parking garage and got the 'wrench' light to come on next to the tachometer.
I had my SCT tuner out and pulled the error code; P0732 - Issue with 2nd gear ratio.
I have not had any issues with the transmission to date and due to the mileage, everything should be in O.K. shape.
My current lists of mods are:
JLT Series 3 CAI
Bama 93 race tune
FRPP throttle body
Pypes Off-Road X
Flowmaster Outlaws
I will admit, I do 'manually' shift the auto from time to time but I NEVER run it to redline or pull it in to a lower gear when I'm going too fast.
Anyone ever run in to this problem?
Thanks

I was under the impression that the SCT doesnt pull tranny codes. It cant read them. I have had CEL and the flashing OD but never a wrench light......so IDK.

I have/had this problem. I am now having to rebuild the tranny. Not looking good for you.
Change your tranny fluid/solenoid and see if it comes back. If it doesn't could have just been dirty fluid/faulty solenoid.
The 3rd gear band/link is weak in our transmissions and that is what went in mine.
