Default Stearing still groans :(

So, I had replaced the power steering pump because it was groaning on stand stills when I turned the wheel. Seemed to be working fine for about a week after installing a used steering pump. Then it started groaning again. Went out and bought a new (well, refurb) steering pump from autozone. Still groans. Now, I realize it's "possible" the new one is shot too but I'm starting to think not. It seems like it works fine under normal driving conditions with speed but slow corners and especially parking spots are extremely obvious that somethings wrong? Especially seems like turning right is worse than turning left. What else could it be? Steering rack?????

Parked on a hill and went through the entire bleeding process just to make sure and still no good. Almost worse.

Turning the steering wheel with the vehicle not moving is considered to be a no-no. If at all possible, try to have the car moving when turning the steering wheel. It puts too much strain on the power steering pump. Driving 101...

Could be a dumb question however you bled the system but is the fluid low? This is normally the problem for noisy Steering pump noises.. About 98% of the time id say

Yeah, been filled to proper levels each time. I'm going to try and flush the lines and bleed it again this week. I'm really thinking it's air that just doesn't want to come out.

I heard those sounds can be cured (masked) with a blower and off road exhaust....

Sorry I know this wasn't helpful. Let us know the results.
