Hard acceleration electrical loss, car stays on
I’m having the same issue and I replaced my alternator with an Oreillys ultima reman alternator. My car was running fine up until just a few weeks ago I thought it was in my tune had tune revised and then I thought about what my OEM alternator did at high rpms when revving engine and I didn’t hear the alternator one way clutch pulley disengage on the Oreillys alternator which is why it’s killing power to the radio triggering abs tcs and cause the Ipc lights to go out and come back on when rpms drop. Basically what’s happening is the alternator is still trying to charge in high rpms but the system is detecting an overcharge is kicking off some of the electronics to keep from blowing or back feeding the pcm

Solutions??
Sorry for reviving, but just wanted to give an answer to what the problem was. Ended up being a bad voltage regulator on the alternator.
Did some other tests. Put a meter on it while idle, reading 14.5v. Revved up hard and voltage shot up to 19v+ and electronics would spaz out. Shouldn't go any higher than 15-16v, if that.
Replaced alternator and all is well.
