Default 8 plug 2.3

This is my 1st post since I don't have a stang, yet. My DD is a lifted cherokee and was looking for a 4cyl. Found a guy selling a 2.3 that he says is an 8 plug. What is it (twin cam)? The three fords I've had are 71 Torino Cobra, 302 Maverick, 70 Ranchero. All of my past fords were in the 80's. Never had a 4cyl. Are these better the the reg 2.3 and what do they come out of. Looking for decent gas mpg and decent performance.

O.K. so I serched and found out eng is stock on a 92. Only asked the ques because the guy seemed to be making a big deal about dual plugs. So I suppose basick improvements will be the same? Or did I just answer my own ques again.

The DP headers are used on 91-93 mustangs.

The only gain is you get MAF and a roller cam, other than that nothing is really gained.
