Feels like brake is on
Hi,
I bought a 93 vert, 4 cyl and when I back up it feels as though the parking brake is set but eventually it rolls back with a lot of throttle. I checked the brakes and they are fine. The trans shifts fine and fluid smells okay. P.O. said he had trans checked by mechanic and told it was fine. It goes down the road just fine. It feels a little stuck going forward but in reverse it really seems bad. On the road she runs fine with no noises or smell of stuck brakes. Any ideas? Could it be differential, bearing? I dunno! Should I flush the trans fluid? The car only has 105K on her and was a two owner vehicle that was well maintained.
