does anyone know if a 1991 3.9 ford ranger motor will bolt up to a 1986 svo transmission.

Was that engine ever mated to a t5? Might just need its bell housing if so.

I don't think so. I couldn't find your bellhousing pattern.

You need a bellhousing to mate yours to a t-5. Do internet search maybe. Also the 2.3 t-5 has a differant input shaft size into the flywheel. Also unsure of how that fiqure in place. Also putting a t-5 your shifter will windup just at edge of seat. Most notch the bench seat or install bucket seats. Maurice
