the actuator is siezed. If there was a bad connection or something you'd still be able to close it manually.
I just took mine out. I dont have the cash now to make a new setup using something other than ford ones.

I also am facing a defective actuator on a 2003 vert. I have the inner door panel off, but can't seem to be able to remove the old actuator. I purchaed a new one from the A1 Auto place for a reasonable price. any help with tricks or whatever would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,
