Default Safe Boost?

I have a powerdyne s/c on my 87 mustang. I was just wondering if I could safely change the pulley up to 9psi (currently at 6psi) without changing anything. A friend said I might need a headspacer to lower compression but I just wanted to check. And I have 24lb injectors...will they be big enough?

well just go for it. whats the worst thing that can happen. I would consider more fuel flow injectors with it. If you want to pull apardt the heads there is some material around the valve seats in the combustion chamber of the head that can be removed to lower compression. just throw the pully on and smash the gas.

You will need to up the fuel pump to 190 lph and swap out the diaphram in the fuel regulator.
You will want to intercool the air and hook up a bypass valve.
Also you will be overworking that blower and it will need rebuilt sooner. Keep that in mind.

you should be all right.

it's all in the computer tune, a good dyno-tune can set the timing retard in the comuter
to take care of detonation and be able to put up to 10psi ok.

there is also this.

www.snowperformance.com
going to put it on my blower.

You can't tune a car for more fuel if it can't deliver it.
The stock pump has a limit to it's duty cycle.
10 psi may be okay, but only if you are set up for it.

I believe the guy who tuned my car said that if you do 42 lb injectors and a 255 lph pump, you don't even need the fuel regulator.
But in your case you still need to have the fuel regulator caliberated for more fuel. Basically swapping out of a diaphram inside the unit.
