Hey group. I must confess I have always been a chevy man, and felt Ford only did two things right......Mustangs and trucks. In the last two years, I own a Bronco, F-150, and a mustang ragtop, and I couldn't be happier. Here is my question. I bought my 15 year old son a 91 GT for straight A's through his 9th grade year.I got a great deal and am familiar with most of the mods, but the young man who owned it had "aac mkII"with a cobra snake emblems all over the car.........trunk, steering wheel, dash, stickers, etc.........and I cannot find out who or what this is. Hope someone can help with this, and thanks for the time.........Mike Payne</P>

Sounds to me like the guy was a cobra freak. If it was an original cobra, (and I don't profess to being an expert on cobra's), it would have a cobra embossed on the intake plenum of the engine. Other than that, and stock cobra emblems, that's the way to tell. I also believe that they had a different computer than the stock ee4c. Hope that helps.

Icould be wrong about this, someone correct me if i am, but i thought they brought the "cobra" name back in 1993 and kept it going after. I don't think there were any 87-92 cobra's out there...</P>

Kid who owned it before was probably just trying to make it look like a 93 cobra, I'm assuming at least.</P><edited><editID>Snake</editID><editDate>37780.929837963</editDate></edited>

You are correct snake. What this guy bought was a Mcclaren Mustang.

Other than they are rare, I don't know anything.

OH, gotcha. I know what you are talking about now. They look a tad different. I've seen pictures, they have a few body mod's, I have no idea what's different about the engine though.</P>
