Anybody running 4.10 with 5 sp
I have a bunch of mods with a 3.55 and was thinking of going with a 4.10 instead of 73's. I would run a taller slick at the track 29 inches. I am not really concerned about gas mileage. Thanks

I have 4.10's and like them.If your not concerned about gas mileage I say go for it.3.73's are most definately going to be easier on your engine on the highway at high speeds.

i had 4:10's in my old car it was awesome leaving the starting line, 1.69 60-foot time on slicks running 13.50's. but it seemed to lack top end. i was going threw the traps at 5800-6000. but i had no egine mods except for a e303 cam, so maybe thats why mine didnt have much top end power. but u will be impressed leaving the starting line if you can get the car to hook-up. when i had 3:08's my car would hook in a sandbox, but when you go toa higher gear u need to start looking at suspenion mods and sticky tires.

What would you reccomend for street/strip versatility? My buddy has a 93 cobra with 4.10's and its his daily driver (other than his police cruiser). We rode to Kentucky (from Ala.) the other weekend up I-65, running about 75-80 and we were around 3000-3500 rpms (est.) I reckon thats fairly decent. Either way im sure either is a great step up from stock 3.08's
