Default RE: Great News!!!

I have 4.78 volts at wot and sometimes 4.76, and right now im at 1.27 idle and my car likes that , I have driven it, drives awesome no cel lights and the lean code is gone I once had.

Ill see if I can back it down lower and still get a decent WOT, I DONT LIKE THE IDEA IM FINDING DIFFERENT ELECTRICAL SETTING VARIATIONS IN DIFFERENT MANUALS. The 1.27 was found in an old Ford specification book.

Is it possible my car likes this setting with my combo, Id hate to lose all this power dropping it back down or waiste money and buy a Ford tps when this one is new GP Gorsen
When you open the throttle blade to full open, you are not checking where the computer switches into WOT strategy.
The voltages you have listed for throttle blade lockout are normal.
The resistance of the tps will change as its temperature chages, which explains the .02v difference you have witnessed.

There used to be an adjustable tps on Ford EEC-III computers. When the change was made to EEC-IV, some cars still used the EEC-III tps sensors. this is why people still think that the EEC-IV tps is adjustable.

For many years the Mustang magazines and popular literature held to the belief that the tps had to be adjusted to .98v to .99v. There is no difference to the computer, as long as the voltage is between .6v and 1.2v.
WOT is always 2.7v above the base idle.

Please read the link that I provided above as it will help to clarify this issue for you.

ok ,

I dropped it down to 1.00, thats the best I could do. think she was running a little too rich or somethin. casue had a little too much smoke from pipes, as if too much gas dumped etc.
The tps has NO impact on the afr.
If there is an issue, then look elsewhere for the cause.
It is not the TPS.

With the idle TPS being 1.00v, the computer will go into WOT when the TPS reads 3.7v. Notice that this is long before the throttle plate is fully open, as you may hit around 4.8v with the throttle blade at full open.
