Default older 5.0L newer 5.0L?



hey just wondering if they changed the 5.0L when they changed the front and stuff in '87?....and if they did what did they change?..wich is better?.....and if the newer one is better is it possible to do a swap and if so how hard is it?</P>

iirc they went to a roller cam sometime in there. They make kits to retrofit roller cams, pretty cheap, lots cheaper than swapping a whole motor. Don't know what else has changed.

the roller cam part started in 85 with the manual tranny GT
