do you mean you dont have to have emissions by law or you've already removed the smog pump/egr system? The only disadvantage to EGR removal is you may see a small decrease in fuel mileage...

I'm just gonna plug mine up so it makes a cap where it mounts. You could do that ?

if i make a plate that blocks it off and leave it unhooked will my car run any different. what i mean is will run better or worse with out this hooked up. cause in minnesota we dont have emmissions test and i have already taken off my air pump and i dont have cats so is the egr is basically not doing anything for my car right now.

You wont go faster if you take it off and then you will have to mess with getting the CEL to stay off. I would just leave it alone, but you can take it off. You may have a little detonation cus you cumbustion chambers will burn hotter(that is what the EGR does, cool the burn so you create less NOX gasses.) Do a google on it and go from there. I took mine off.

You can just leave it on and plug it, therefore you can leave the wiring hooked up so your light doesnt come on.

Why plug it if you leave it on? It wont help you at all, may even take a little from ya.
