I'm attempting this right now but I'm having a problem. My old tranny had two inputs for sensors (reverse light and I'm guessing clutch safety switch??) but the new one only has one. I plugged the reverse light switch into it and the lights work fine but the engine won't turn over. I plugged the other switch in and the reverse lights stopped working and it still won't turn over. It's just clicking from the starter solenoid, and yes I tried starting it in reverse just out of curiousity. Any ideas on this one?

look if you have to use the 4 cyl gearbox... just get a pilot bearing for a 4cyl .... the pilot bearing comes out of the center of the flywheel .. then you drive the 4 cyl bearing in ... now you wont have to worry about the input shaft banging around in the bigger bearing & vibrating apart ... I got sold one of these gear boxes a long time ago .. back when i didnt know what I was lookin at .... I had to use it because I didnt have money to buy another one after getting beat.... once you get it in you wont have to use 1st gear anymore you can take off in second gear & theres no power ... at least that was my experience with a 4 cyl gear box.
