Default AC Eliminator with Vortech/Paxton

Anyone running a Fox with a Vortech or Paxton and the AC Elminator...

Just heard from Vortech I might have a problem with the idler hitting the water pump pulley if the Power Steering is mounted where the AC used to be...

Anyone encounter this

What you can do is just not use the tensioner, and you'll have to remove the bolts for the power steering pump each time you take the belt on or off... That's what I did for two years, and never had any problems with it.

Thanks for the info...I also heard switching to a 93 Cobra Water Pump Pulley will do the trick.....

I guess I would just have to measure and find a belt that fits perfect right?

Yeah the belt was a bitch... I think I went through 6 belts, but the first few were still trying to find a way to make it work with the tensioner still being used... then I abandoned that idea and went without it... ended up getting one of the first ones I tried after I took it back and exchanged it... it was really a hassle for me.
