me either i can get the shifter off with the tranny in the car... damn RTV won't let the shifter break loose lol i use an intercooler pump and a syfon hose

lol i had a prybar on each side i tried a crowbar, i tried pulling, the tranny moved up and down and the shifter didn't even think of moving lol, when i was rebuilding the tranny it took a 3 lb. rubber mallet to lossen it up [&:], and with a brand new windshield i would be PISSED if i broke that SOB

Some of the trannies that I have drained and refilled don't have drain holes. We have a sucker machine at work that I just stick into the fill hole and suck all of the old shiz out.

i used a hand pump that screws on a one gallon bottle with a hose from autozone. it worked great!! and it is only 2.99!

i did that for a while the intercooler pump is much faster and i got it for 5$ from my roomate and yea 92lxhatch some trannies don't have drain plugs which is a poor design and realy inconvenient

the blue marine **** (only thing dad had laying around) and i made a thin layer on the tranny caseing but it was kinda wide, i'm not using that **** next time, it's whats sealing my tranny, hasn't leaked a drop
