im gettin this new 5.0 come spring. what should i do to it to get it ready to race? i should have about 5,000 to put into the performance. its a 89 gt.

yeah speed def. cost alot i wanna go as fast as possible. need to get alot of these imports out of the way

I'd look into a power package from holley, or edlebrock.
Heads, cam, intake, etc. all included

rest in suspension/tires

suspension first and foremost, u will already be in the 12's if u do the right suspension mods gears and get some slicks. than u have a lot more of a car to start with, than do a h/c/i package, some afr's a big cam, x303 trick flow stage 2 or the comp cams xe294h cam. than kenne bell supercharger 42 lb injectors and have some fun.
