Lowering idle...how to?

Lowering idle...how to?
My car idles kind of high at the moment, usually between 1000-1100rpm. I'd like to lower it to 800-900ish rpm becuase at 1,000rpm my hatch rattles at idle. When the engine is cold it idles at 800rpm...hatch doesn't rattle at all. So how do I go about lowering it? Thanks!

RE: Lowering idle...how to?
you can try and mess with the idle set screw on the TB, then reset the TPS
but actaully its set in the EEC computer and when you change the set screw the
computer eventually "re-learns" itself back to the rpm set in the EEC.
You might just have a bad IAC that lets too much air thru when it gets hot too.
It should idle higher when cold and lower when warm.
