Help!!, nothing can be done to fix need opions
Ok have had my stang for about 2 yrs now and it has starting sputtering when gas is given to the car, its an auto 1993, problem is that the alternator went bad on it only a week proir to the problem. I NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!! The car will not stutter at idle, only on acceleration , but during accerleration i will let up off the gas pedal a little and it feels like the engine catches up.
1. I hav ohmed out the TPS and the Dist. module( the one located inside of the dist.)
2. have already checked the fuel pressure and it is ok at idle and on the rev.
3. If i unhook the MAF it runs very well and i have been driving it like that for about a week.
4. I use 93 oct gas

Have you tried cleaning the MAF with a can of MAF sensor cleaner? A dirty sensor will cause big driveability issues. Are the wires damaged by any chance? needless to say, broken wires will really screw things up
