Default Cometic head gasket water leak

Installed Cometic Head gaskets. I pressure tested the cooling system and notice water leakage from the underneath the Heads. It looks like I don't have a perfect seal. I know its not the head bolt water jackets because I put thread sealer from permatex. I know I put sufficient amount. Its coming from the water jackets and making its way through the gasket and out of the bottom underneath the head. I have spoken with a few people and also checked out the cometic website andheard that, it is still possible to have leaks upon first installing them. They says to run engine in cycles and look to see if the gasket seals. (Metal expanding with heat ofcourse) Has anyone had this problem before? and just run the car and have gotten a good seal after the cycles? Let me know. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hmmm, interesting. Never heard of that though. What have you done that the head gaskets needed replacing?

Default RE: Cometic head gasket water leak

I had the intakes get ported. Match ported the head to the lower intake. Basic stuff to get more HP. So I went with cometic because I have heard they are the ideal gaskets for superchargers. I don't want to blowa head gasket just because I have SuperCharger. the felpros did good, but I don't want to tear it up again. Just want to do it once. I just want to drive my carand not worryabout blowing a head gasket being many miles away from home. Thanks for the reply.
Anymore outhere with tips????
