5.0 codes
I put the scanner on my car and there is few codes that i amhaving troubleswith a few of them.
KOEO
82 Thermacator Divert or Bypass CKT
85 O=Canp CKT Fault/ C=fuel at lean limit
Continuous
34 EGR (EVP) closed valve signal too high
66 Airflow (MAF/ VAF) signal low CKT GND
KOER
98 DTC Present (FMEM)/EPC CKT Fault
66 Airflow (MAF/VAF) signal low CKT GND
It isan 86 mustang with mass air conversion 30lb inj. Edelbrock Performer intake, 70mm throttle body, Granetelli 90mm MAFS(calibrated for 30lb inj.) .030 over forged pistons, e303 cam,255lph fuel pump,Flowtech shorties, Mac H-pipeno egr valve, no A/C
What should i do next?

RE: 5.0 codes
Ok.....couple things. If you did the conversion, I would go over the wiring to make sure there is no corrosion....Really carefully go over the wiring you added in for the MAF. The thermactor bypass and EGR codes are prolly related. The thermactor bypass has something to do with routing the air from your EGR or smog pump....haven't looked at mine in a while. There should be two identical solenoids mounted on your valve cover I think.......one is the thermactor air bypass, other is thermactor air diverter.....FMEM is Failure Mode Effects Management, no idea what the hell it does. I think its a default mode for soemthing or the other....CANP is canister purge solenoid. Thats the one going to a line coming off your charcoal canister(lil plastic box with a 2 or three vacuum lines) When it opens its supposed to draw fuel vapor into the intake. Which would make it run a lil bit richer if you havent ripped it off or it stopped functioning....hence the lean setting. Try that, then clear all the codes, see which ones come back, there should be no voltage from your egr if there isnt one.......might wanna look into the old connector and make sure you didnt plug it up somewhere else
