I have an 93 GT and right now I have the factory 4lug axles. now i know i can just buy some Strang axles or some Moser..... but right now i have the stocks. I have some Cobra R's with 275 Nitto Drag Radials on them and i dont think those have the traction to brake the stock axles but i have a set of welds with 10" slicks and i think i might break them? So i guess my Q is howmany HPs can thefactroy 4lug axles takeand the factory traclock, and if i do go aftermarket what spline axles will work with the factory traclock?

With the money you have in your car, why not replace them? They aren't that big of an investment. But I've had a friend go 10.teens on a stock rearend. Plenty of people have gone high 10s. I usually replace them in the mid-11 range. Most people on here will replace in the 13s because they've known someone, heard of someone, or read in a magazine about some guy that brokethem with 300rwhp.

With the stock traclock, you can run stock spline. You'll have to replace it to upgrade. I run spools in all my street cars so I go straight to 33 spline. They are the same price as 31 spline.
