deffinitley put a new timing chain in there, How many miles on the engine? you doing cam bearings?

definately better springs, maybe lifters depending on mileage, new chain and gear. cobra rockers would be great. know where some are if interested. yes on the t body

Put white engine grease on all of the cam lobes, and after 30 minutes of idling change the oil and filter to get rid of that garbage. Be extremely careful when installing the cam. Don't force it. You knock a cam bearing out of alignment and you've got a lot of work ahead of you. They're pretty durable, but be very careful.
