i cant really see much in the pictures, but if your talking about the black stuff, its normal. pull the manifold off any car with some miles on it and you will see that.

mines got 150k on it and i will be replacing my manifold soon cause i wont be getting a new engine til a year or so from now.so i guess ill be seein the same ****,

ok thats good then. im just glad its not a shocker to everyone. the car only has 138000 on it.

5pointslow, let me know how your manifold looks when you take it off, im curious

i wouldn't worry about it i've seen alot worse... i don't know if your a clean freak like me but i'd clean it up real good like before you put that upper intake back on.. and just for shiits and giggles i'd replace the pcv valve
