mercury capri?
im looking for a 5.0 too build up as a drag car this summer, and ran into a really nicely priced 1985 mercury capri. does anybody know if i can swap out that big bubble window for one from a mustang? thanks for the help

the hatch off a gt and lx are the same only difference is the wing, and im pretty sure it fits fine

Both will fit fine, I should have said Mustang instead of GT. +1 on the taillamp swap

yeah it will fit, but if your gonna do that, get a Lx rear bumper and mustang taillights and swap them in place of the capri's rear clip, otherwise the hatch will look kinda funny.
there was a MMFF issue last year that featured a '86 Capri RS with t-tops. he swapped out the rear hatch, bumper and taillights to the LX style, and also swapped out to 87-93 quarter glass. the car looked awesome has a really nice paintjob, it was like a metallic copper sort of color.
