Read my sig and it'll tell you some of what's in my motor but my question is with this motor with only about 5k-6k miles on it would there be any point to put a stroker kit on it?
you can run the blower with that compression, its just not the typical or optimum. you just cant run a lot of boost and you'll have to run even less timing. i guess rick anderson from anderson ford likes to run that kinda combo and he's a pretty credible guy. just sayin that its not like you cant do it, you just have to b careful and ask sombody that has done it before what they think bout it
Ok. I talked to Rick Erdman from Amazon Tuning Solutions in Anderson, SC and he said it's difficult to do with a 10.5:1 compression considering the blower i have is a Vortech T-Trim with only 12lb and 17lb pulley's.
if your going to run that blower, dich the e cam and go for a custom cam, with your set up (331, 302 or 347) and a fat blower, you will definetly want one.
Well if I sell the blower I could stroke my motor but what would be the point with only 5k miles on it? And the blower I have is a Vortech T-Trim so yea, it's one heck of a centrifugal blower.
