Default Antenna

I am thinking of getting a power antena for my stang. I hardly ever listen to AM/FM since I got XM, and just thought it might look better, but unsure. What do yall think???

I have a book somewhere with exact directions on how to do it, and it has the ford part number as well (Only god knows where that is at the moment, but I know I can find it). You do need a radio with the ability to send the signal to tell the antenna to go up and down. But if you have an aftermarket deck (Like almost everyone does) then you should already have it.

use that same wire that you would use to turn your amp on for subs.... just send that to your antenna

That would work as well, but if you use the antena wire then it will only go up if you are using AM/FM. Otherwise it would go up if you were listening to a cd or the XM in my case. Not a huge deal, but since the other wire is already there.
