Default headlight cut out

i have a 91 gt, i just put xenon bulbs in it. i was driving home and they started to cut out. ive heard that the headlight switch tends to go out on the fox bodys but they didnt start cutting out till i put the bulbs in. the bulbs burn at 80w low 100w high. maybe to hot of a bulb? any ideas let me know. thanks

Try putting a set of stock bulbs in and see what happens. If it stops, you found the culprit and you will need a regulator to run the bulbs. But I don't see that as a problem necessarily. You can also try the headlight switch, as they HAVE burnt out on me in the past. Also check the dimmer on the column. I've also had that stalk burn out before as well. Both of those parts shouldn't run you too much cash to fix if you must replace them. Those should be the only three things that could be the problem.
