Default RE: Starter help

Well I got a new starter and now the bandex isnt engaging....I got it tested 3 times at dif autozones. took it to a local shop that rebuilds them and they all said it was ok and it was working fine. I jumped it twice once with my mustang and once with my other car both times the bandex spun but didn't shoot out. I tested the battery got 12.5. Tested at the solenoid 12.5 and then down at the cable under the car 12.5...I had someeon start it and got 11.5 11.25 at the starter. Any suggestions? Im really at a loss for ideas and words

Default RE: Starter help

Ok UPDATE.
Today I replaced my flywheel with a FMS on my Stang and with a new rebuilt starter. After getting the Tranny back in I decided to just turn the motor and see if the problem was solved before I put everything back on. Well it was fine for the first couple starts then it started to grind. But this time my starter didnt break but just grinds. Turned the crank to try a different position on the flywheel and same thing. Then it sounded like the bandex was just turning and not gripping it keeps switching from not grinding and not catching to grinding the flywheel. I simply do not have another clue on what to do next. If anyone has an idea or any advice it Will BE GREATLY GREATLY appreciated.
