I have a fenderwll cai and mine sounds nothing like a fart can honda, mine sounds like a 5.0 should, it rumbles nicely.

my fender mount makes a air sucking sound...does remind me of a honda but its ok b/c the motor sound makes up for it

i felt more response with the BBK CAI.

all i can think of is he maybe broke a vaccum line or something while installing it. check the air pump hoses and EGR lines. they break fairly easy.

I cant believe nobody else has noticed a different tone in their exhaust after a Cold air intake install. I will probably end up cutting my losses,and put the stock one back in witha K & N.

+1 , yea check the vacuum lines, there is 1 on mine that runs right under the tube, and check the purge canister lines, ive had them disconnect b4 and the the car sounds and runs like *****...
