An TDC won't necessarily be right, you have to get the lifter when it is down. Roll the motor till the rocker arm you are looking at goes up then down, then when the one right next to it start going up is when you start setting lash and preload...get it??

Its all the same, just weather you use shims or not. Pedestals are more of a pain to get right.

and for the record, studs are 1,000 times better than pedestal mount for multiple reasons [8D]
