Default Brake Calipers, 93 rear disc caliper piston!

Does anyone know if the caliper screws in or pushes in? I have tried both and not having much luck. I did get the piston to move slightly by turning it, but it will not go any further and I will not be able to fit the assembled caliper on the disc. My cheesy repair manaul does not address rear calipers, only fronts. Thanks guys.

Do you know what vehicle they came off of. Do you have the special tool to turn the pistons back in?

I am 99% sure they are Cobra calipers. And if they turn, I will need to get the tool. My repair manual states I have to push the fronts back in with a c-clamp, but I was not sure about the rears. They are not oem on my car.

The rear require a special tool so you can push, then turn them in(if they are a ford caliper)

if it has some slots in it then it will need to be turned( i use opened needle nose pliers) but if theres no slot then it is a push in one, take off the master cylinder cap to allow the fluid to raise when u press in the caliper
