pulled 4cyl now k-member install questions
I am building a 93 notch drag car and this week end pulled the motor and trans, and alot of other stuff to save weight.
I have a Granattelli K-member going in and here is my question,
The G kit say's you need a sway bar mount bracket that comes seperately, do I need he sway bar a all? I am going with coil overs and tubularA- arms with a bump steer kit, is tha sway bar over kill for a straight line car? I don't want the weight if I don't need it!
Thanks

...leave it off. Weight is one issue and you want the transfer of weight from the front-end-lift to plant your rear tires. The sway bar ties your body down. removing it will help in launching. helped me out.

Thanks that was my thought exactlty. Granetteli offers tubular a arms with a bracket to put a sway bar into. I think I am going to buy that one and leave it off. Then someday when I street it I can add a sway bar then.
Once I install the A arms and coil overs whats the best way to align the front end, we are doing this at home in the garage. I know we will need a front end alignment but just to put it together as close as possible at home.
More questions coming
Thanks!
