I'm looking at perhaps picking up a 1990 Mustang GT... Specs are below:

Trim : GT
Status : Used
Description : 1990 FORD MUSTANG GT, mint, 25th Anniv edition, 5.0L, 5 spd, pw, pdl, ac, s/roof, newer tires, Kenwood MP3 stereo & spkrs, K&N filter, 3.73 rearend, trac bars, shorty headers, full Flowmaster exh, poly bushings, B&M ripper shifter, very quick,

$8,000.00

</T>

What do you guys think? Is that a decent price for this car? It's a 1990 w/ under 100,000kms ..... to me, that sounds a little too good to be true, but there might be an explanation for it.

Please tell me your thoughts & thx in advance.

a little high for a 90, check the car in person before you commit... get vin and run a carfax.. now car could have had major body, mech. work and still show clean through car fax but the mileage is great for a 90. car is really only worth about 6200 and that is high, but it also falls under the can't find em anymore catagory.. your money, your mind and vision so if you want it and can afford it, buy it... just make sure all lines are straight and the frame isn't twisted.

Well thanks for the comments. The price is $8,000 CAD, so around $5,600 USD ( I think ). But there's one problem.... I called the dood and someone else had already put a down payment for him to hold it. So, I think I might be s.o.l. I told him that if for some reason the deal with the other guy didn't go through, to give me a call. However, I did find another deal that is very similar to the one above.... details below:

Trim : 1990 GT COBRA 25TH ANNIVERSARY
Description : 1990 FORD MUSTANG GT COBRA 25TH ANNIVERSARY, 5.0 liter, 5 speed, cherry red, fully loaded, removable moonroof, full Mack exhaust, cold air intake, 17' Y2K Cobra R rims, Alpine alarm, keyless entry, 2 extra sets of rims, lots of extra parts, MP3 stereo system with subs, #'s matching, never seen snow or body shop, original owner, collectors edition, serious inquires only,

97,000 kms

$8,900 CADobo.

This carseems very similar to the white one (save for the GT) and the KMS & price are comparible as well. But if anyone's got anything else they can add, please do.

Aight I'm glad I asked. I didn't know about the Cobra's only comming out in '93.... so either the dood made a type-o or he's trying to pull something. And yeah, I'm not gonna get all caught up over it. Probably take a good look at it and then revise my decision.
