my 90 LX 5.0 was involved in a collision and when the engine compartment was rebuil tthey simply bolted the battery coil (i think thats it, its where all the power cables come together) just to the body behind the battery on the driver side. I am sure there was something there that made this look better.

I was hoping someone could send me some pics of their engine compartment behind the battery and show me how its supposed to be hooked up.

thats where it goes. its called a starter solenoid. its mounted to the fender right behind the battery.
there should be a black plastic cover that goes over it, but its not really necessary

It just looks kind of raw. i was hoping to get what ever mount or cover was intended. got any pics?

Think that little cover can be had from places like Luarel Mountian Mustangs or Dallas Mustang Parts.........

I moved mine to fenderwell, filled all the holes in and moved battery. Now all you see is my MSD box. If you need the coil cover I have a brand new one I never got to use, p.m if you want it cheap
