intake backfire is back again
after a few days of no backfire from the intake i finally got one yesturday. i changed the fuel filter and it seemed to help, i was told to blow into the filter to see if it was clogged and from what i could tell is that its good that i changed it. so anyways ive been driving it around flooring it and all and i herd to popping noise untill last night. i guess my next step is to check for vacuum leaks, i dont think i have any though. so i got the carb cleaner aerosol can style and i was wondering where i should spry it just to clarify.
one question about the timing which i hope i didnt screw up, on the harmonic balancer theres 2 parts to it. theres a part where closer to the right is just a line and closer to the left theres a circle, to which should my numbers be at?

RE: intake backfire is back again
spray the carb cleaner at all your joints. ie, tb to manifold, upper to lower, lower to block, and see if the engine revs up any. You use the line to time the motor.
