coil overs on stock struts?

Was wondering.. im moving to my new house and garage in 2 weeks.. i have the coil over kit but still got my stock struts i havnt got the money to buy them yet. I didnt know if the coil overs would work with stock struts or not.. this could be a stupid question but worth a shot.. thanks guys

No it won't, you need struts with the threads on them
